Institutions can provide an Excel sheet with ISSNs/ISBNs and access URLs. SCiNiTO’s team will integrate those sources into the platform, enabling users to search both open and licensed content seamlessly.

8. Can I access full-text articles from paywalled sources?

Yes—if your institution subscribes and integrates its holdings with SCiNiTO. Otherwise, only open-access content will be available for full-text viewing.

9. How often is the SCiNiTO database updated?

SCiNiTO is powered by OpenAlex, which is continuously updated. New research indexed by OpenAlex is reflected in SCiNiTO in real time.

10. Does SCiNiTO have a mobile app?

Currently, SCiNiTO is web-based and mobile-friendly. A dedicated app is under consideration based on user demand.
